The servant is a human being just as is the “king” so he falls under the universal laws of God. Both are children of God. Both were created by God but most importantly in the image of God, not as a God. That is why we have a separation of church and state in the United States.

He's committed to being a Christian, and Dumb Earth Creationist, and has too much time and work vested in his station to back out. If he quits pretending, he will lose associates, friends, book deals, and money. He may come close to convincing himself he believes his own delusions. But he still wakes up in the middle of the night with the Stark realization that he's just a sham.

William Mailis, if your see this, I assume with confidence your knowledge has grown in the interim of this videos recording and my posting of this comment. I am interested as to know wether you believe there to be an epistemological difficulty between matter and spirit. Science as a medium analyses matter, and from what I have read does not assess spirit fairly well. I wonder if you have any consideration on how this may impact your dream of proving God through a scientific means, if not and you believe it is plausible, what gives you your confidence?

You don't need to be a genius to figure that out. I've been teaching that for decades. Who created the singularity? Who created the rules of the universe, how gravity behaves. It all began, even Big Bangers say that, so gravity, physical light, matter, it all had a beginning. Here's another thing to put in your pipe and smoke it. If God is truly Omnipotent and is the One who created Time and matter and all else, why couldn't He have decided to create it already 800 trillion years old, or any age. God knows exactly what state something would be in after billions of years, He's not limited by time, so He could have created everything already trillions of years old. Just THINK!

I'm curious if he continues to believe today. It is possible that he does, but it's also possible he doesn't. However, I doubt he would come to the conclusion that there is surely no God. More likely, he would realize his arguments (and the arguments he'd heard from others) were insufficient to prove that God exists and that it is therefore left unknown whether or not there is a God.

A big thanks to Rev. Fr. Romanos Karanos for an excellent sermon on chant! Some clarifications (not corrections) to avoid potential misunderstandings when it comes to the use of an organ in liturgical practice. Revelation 14:1-4, where it was revealed to John the evangelist that angels were chanting for the Lord. The King James Version says: Rev. 14:2 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps. “The voice of harpers” may be interpreted as a harper who plays the harp and also sings along with voice. But that’s not what the original says: 2 καὶ ἤκουσα φωνὴν ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ὡς φωνὴν ὑδάτων πολλῶν καὶ ὡς φωνὴν βροντῆς μεγάλης, καὶ ἡ φωνὴ ἣν ἤκουσα ὡς κιθαρῳδῶν κιθαριζόντων ἐν ταῖς κιθάραις αὐτῶν. The second part, literally translated, is “and the voice which I heard (was) like harpists harping with their harps”. Listening to the voice of harpers and listening to a voice that sounds like a harp is not the same. One uses the harp along with singing, the other uses only a voice that sounds like a harp. Here are three translations of the verse: the NIV, ESV, and ASB95: New International Version 2 The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. English Standard Version 2 The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps American Standard Bible 1995 2 … and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps. KJV is known to have accommodated certain biases. By 1611, musical instruments were widely accepted in western liturgical practice. Psalms give many references to both chanting and using musical instruments in praising the Lord. If we argue that we chant *because* Psalms say we can, then by the same token we could use instruments too. But here’s the difference: instruments were used 1,000 years before Christ in Jewish worship, abandoned by Jews by the time Christianity came along, and were explicitly condemned during early Christianity. So, it’s not wrong to say that Psalms give us the authority to chant, but the same argument cannot be made about instruments. Instruments were not mentioned at all in the New Testament as a form of worship (even though mentioned for wakes and weddings), chanting is specifically urged in the New Testament (even Jesus chanted the traditional Judaic Passover hymns, as Fr. Romanos mentioned), chanting was canonized early on, and early church fathers exalted chanting, but expressly banned instruments. It’s not surprising that organs were not mentioned in this talk-the topic is about chanting and organs is a touchy issue within GOA. But I wanted to provide some clarification so as to avoid misinterpretation. For more information, please refer to our free article on our website. Michael Tsiappoutas, PhD Patriarchal Psaltophiles

What a wonderful sermon, so fundamentally useful to every worshiping Christian, but to those that chant, a guiding light, a sure path around stumbling blocks, a tearful uplifting of the soul through humility, and an arrival at a wordless understanding of how we need to be focused when at the analogion, expressed in the single word ( reverence)

Well, this administration if a parent stands up to protect their children. They call the FBI in the national guards in the military sheriffs and police tell them to stop them and or arrest them! So since the kids are tired of this school is being shot up of course they protest the military is not gonna come in to stop them. The FBI is not going to commit to stop them. The police are not gonna come in to stop them in the sheriff’s not gonna come in to stop them! So that’s why your parents cannot stand up a protest for the protection of the children, because this administration is trying to break up the family! As a parents have no more rights!

Basically beloved Jesus (as) exposed God almighty's miracle and his existence to remind people once again. Here in present times once again a young man is reminding some people today that God almighty exists and is in full control. We just have to open our eyes and miracles are visible all over the place. There's only One God and Mohammed (saw) is His last prophet and servant. Peace.

In Hawking’s theory he proclaimed: “Before we understood science, it was natural to believe that God created the universe, but now, science offers a more convincing explanation. What I meant by ‘we would know the mind of God’ is we would know everything that God would know if there was a God, but there isn’t. I’m an atheist.” John Hilditch Science is never understood, it is science. Theories are solved, but science is never solved, that is why it is considered science. There is a God, we don't need a scientist to prove that something does not come from nothing. God created everything, and everything is from God, and God owns it all. Praise God 🙏 ♥ In essence we don't need science, we use science, we all need God 🙏 ♥

He's good at giving transcendental arguments, which he presented in this interview. He gives basically the same arguments that Jay Dyer gives on the Orthodox Christian system that to have knowledge/logic REQUIRES universal truth claims, and these are GROUNDED by God. We also specialise on philosophy a lot and know far more about Ancient Greek philosophers and Greek Fathers in order to defend our faith, compared to protestantism which relies only on their book as their justification, and towards Roman Catholicism which believes more in natural epistemology and Thomism. Islam on the other hand has similar paradigms as Roman Catholicism. Our Faith (Eastern Orthodoxy) provides transcendental categories as arguments, including presupposition epistemology@@wfemp_4730
